Welcome to the Pearl Dazzle Custom Design Experience! Our process is divided into three clear stages to ensure your design journey is smooth, exciting, and perfectly tailored to your vision. Whether you’re creating a bold jazz costume, an elegant lyrical piece, or a unique design, we’re here to bring your dream costume to life!

🛠️ Stage One: Choose Your Design Path

Select your design path to begin crafting your custom costume. For made-to-order previous designs with color changes or custom sizes, visit our Etsy store. For fully custom designs, choose one of the options below:

1️⃣ Recap Our Designs

Choose one of our past designs and customize it with fresh color combinations or slight modifications. Browse our Instagram for inspiration.

Note: To maintain exclusivity, we avoid selling the exact same costume within the same season and geographic area. However, we cannot guarantee others won’t recap our designs. Make yours unique with a new color palette or small tweaks.

2️⃣ Full Custom Design

Have a unique idea? We’ll bring it to life! Submit your vision via the Price Quote Inquiry Form to receive a custom quote.

3️⃣ Inspired by Other Designs

We don’t copy designs, but we can take inspiration and add a unique Pearl Dazzle touch. Share your inspiration via the Price Quote Inquiry Form and specify details in the Design Detail Form.

With your design path selected, finalize the details and begin the sketch process to perfect your costume vision.

🛠️ Sketch Design Process

Our sketch process ensures your design is perfectly captured:

  • Initial Confirmation: We confirm your design style based on your selected path and references from our Instagram or other sources.
  • First Sketch: We create an initial sketch based on your descriptions and ideas, with up to three free revisions included.
  • Communication: Provide text descriptions and reference images for clarity via your form or our website inbox or Instagram inbox (@thepearldazzle).
  • Style Changes: A complete style change (e.g., from jazz to lyrical) requires a new sketch at a cost of $250, including three free revisions.
  • Post-Confirmation Changes: After design confirmation, any changes incur a $300 fee.

📏 Stage Three: Measurements & Production

With your design confirmed, submit measurements and prepare for production to bring your costume to life.

Complete the Measurement Form with accurate, up-to-date sizing. Review our Sizing Policy and watch our Measurement Guide Video for guidance.

Reminder: We craft your costume based on the measurements provided, so double-check for accuracy before submitting.

🛠️ Production Timeline

Once design confirmation and measurements are submitted, production begins:

  • Busy Season (July–March): 6–8 weeks.
  • Off-Season (April–June): 4–6 weeks.

🚀 Rush Orders

Need your costume faster? Rush production (4 weeks) is available:

  • Busy Season (July–March): +$200.
  • Off-Season (April–June): +$100.

For 2025/2026 bookings, reserve your spot early via our Price Quote Inquiry Form, as availability fills quickly.

⚠️ Important Reminders

Measurement Accuracy: Double-check measurements before submitting, as we are not responsible for errors in provided sizes.

Post-Confirmation Changes: Any changes after design confirmation and measurement submission incur a $300 fee.

Non-Returnable Orders: Custom costumes are non-returnable. Verify all details before confirming (see our Tagging Policy).

Tamper-Proof Tags: From May 2025, costumes include a tamper-proof anti-wardrobing tag. Removing or tampering voids returns or exchanges.

No Alterations: We do not offer alteration services due to our overseas seamstress. Minor adjustments can be made by a local seamstress at your expense.

Handmade Craftsmanship: Slight variations in materials or colors may occur due to fabric availability or lighting, ensuring a unique piece.
