At Pearl Dazzle Dance Costumes, we craft each costume to your exact measurements for a perfect, stage-ready fit. Our sizing policy ensures a smooth process from measurement submission to final delivery. Follow the steps below and review our guidelines carefully to achieve the best results!

How to Submit Measurements

Accurate measurements are essential for a perfect fit. We work exclusively with custom sizes. Submit your dancer’s measurements using the Custom Measurement Form. Review our Measurement Policy and measurement guide on www.thepearldazzle.com for instructions. If you need help measuring, watch our How to Measure video. Double-check all measurements, as we cannot make changes or offer refunds for inaccurate submissions. After submitting, notify us via our website inbox or Instagram (@thepearldazzle) with your order number to confirm receipt. If you’re unsure about your order number, reach out for help.

What if My Measurements Are Inaccurate?

We use computer sizing to cut fabric and create patterns, ensuring precision when measurements are accurate. If your costume doesn’t fit, follow these steps:

Verify Measurements

Visit a local seamstress or tailor (we can help find one) to double-check your measurements and confirm if the original input was accurate. Alternatively, send us a clear photo of the measurements (showing the entire tape from start to measurement numbers), and our seamstress will compare them with your submitted form and system records.

Options for Fixing

If Our Error: If the measurements are correct and the issue is on our end, we’ll either source a local seamstress to verify measurements and cover adjustment costs, or, if the local seamstress charges too much, you can return the costume to us for adjustments. As our seamstress is currently overseas, adjustments will take 3–4 weeks. If you don’t want to wait, we may issue a refund if the costume is returned in original condition with tags (tags not removed, as removed tags void returns, see Tagging Policy), but we’ll require a local tailor to confirm it’s our fault. We can also assist with reselling the costume if you’re dissatisfied for any reason.

If Your Error: If the measurements are inaccurate, you can:

  • Have the costume adjusted locally (the tailor can measure your dancer and provide a quote).
  • Ship the costume back to us for adjustments (3–4 weeks), with a flat $80 fee to cover repairs and shipping.

Important: From May 2025, all costumes include a tamper-proof anti-wardrobing tag. If the tag is removed or tampered with, no returns or exchanges will be accepted, including for verified errors (see Tagging Policy).
