At Pearl Dazzle Dance Costumes, we’re committed to transparency. Below, find our policies on returns, cancellations, shipping, and more to ensure a smooth experience with your custom costume order.
Policies & Returns
Can I return or exchange my custom costume?
No, all sales are final, and custom costumes cannot be returned or exchanged due to their personalized nature, except as outlined in the Sizing & Measurements section for verified errors on our part. From May 2025, all costumes include a tamper-proof anti-wardrobing tag (see Tagging Policy).
What if the costume doesn’t fit or match the sketch?
We craft costumes based on your approved sketch and measurements. Minor variations in color or embellishment placement may occur due to fabric batches or the handmade process. If there’s a significant issue (e.g., incorrect measurements applied), contact us within 48 hours of delivery via our website inbox or Instagram (@thepearldazzle). Email (info@thepearldazzle.com) is also an option, but responses may be delayed. We’ll assess on a case-by-case basis, but refunds are not guaranteed unless returned in original condition with tags (see Sizing & Measurements and Tagging Policy).
Is the deposit refundable?
The $100 booking deposit is non-refundable and secures your spot in our schedule. It’s credited toward your total cost. If you fail to confirm your order (including deposit and forms) by the end of the month, your order may be delayed or canceled, and the deposit is forfeited.
What if I need to cancel my order?
Once the process starts, cancellations are not accepted, and no refunds are issued, as the deposit is non-refundable and production may have begun. If the costume hasn’t been made yet, we retain the $100 non-refundable booking fee. Contact us immediately via our website inbox or Instagram (@thepearldazzle) to discuss your order. Email (info@thepearldazzle.com) may have delayed responses.
What if my costume is lost or damaged during shipping?
Once shipped via FedEx, we’re not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged items. We provide tracking numbers, and you should contact FedEx directly to resolve any issues. If you require a signature upon delivery, please select the signature shipping method at checkout. Ensure your shipping address is accurate to avoid delays. What is the Tagging Policy?
From May 2025 onward, every costume will include a tamper-proof anti-wardrobing tag. If the tag is removed or tampered with, absolutely no returns or exchanges will be accepted, including for verified errors under the Sizing & Measurements section. Ensure tags remain intact for any potential returns.
